Dressing Up Like a King & Queen

Leeah got an adorable princess outfit as a gift over the summer. Joshua was so jealous of it when she had it on, so I made him a crown and a king's cape out of a curtain. He was so happy.

But of course, he had to put the princess outfit on, when Leeah was done with it. Such a cutie!

Easter Sunday 2008

We had such a nice time today at church. Joshua had his first performance in front of the whole congregation, with his Sunday School class. I was so proud of my baby! They sung "Mary had a little Lamb" but an Easter version of it. They all wore fuzzy bunny ears on their heads - so cute!

We tried to get some pictures of us dressed up when we got home from church, but the kids were pretty cranky.

Joshua and grandma went outside to play after his nap. Isn't this a cute picture of them getting ready to kiss. Adorable!

Good Friday 2008

We were so blessed this year with unexpected Easter baskets for the kids. It was like Christmas with all the great stuff inside. (more toys than candy - thank God) LOL
I am just so grateful for how God always takes care of us.

The following pictures are us dyeing Easter eggs on Good Friday. It is always a real challenge and very messy. Thank God my mom was here to help. We boiled 36 eggs. They will probably go bad before we can eat them all. LOL
It was like a marathon - the kids would drop one egg in to a dye cup, take it out in about 2 seconds and then ask for another egg. We couldn't slow them down. It only took us about 15 minutes to dye all the eggs and finish them off with some stickers. Of course, a few were cracked in the process, but those were the ones Cliff got to eat while he was video taping.

Grandma was having a blast! Don't you just love her hair? We are both trying to let our hair grow. Let's see who can last the longest.

This is Cliff's usual spot behind the video camera.

Everyone was so excited when the eggs were done. Here they are showing them off.

Unexpected News

Here are my babies posing for me so they can get a lollipop. They often ask me to take their picture because they know there is something in it for them. LOL

Here we are getting ready to leave for church. Little did I know that in a few hours I would find out something HUGE!

Well, here it is. We got home from church and I found out I was pregnant with baby #3!!

Joshua's First Drawing

I found Joshua with one of my sketching pencils today. I was so proud of him. The face on the left has 4 noses and they both have lots of hair (according to my son's explanation). We may have another artist in the family!!

Our First Real Snow Storm!

We got a good 10" of snow today. It was really nice. I got the kids all bundled up. Leeah is in one of Joshua's snow suits, because she doesn't have one of her own. We have lots of hand me downs, so every once in a while she gets stuck wearing boys clothes. LOL

After Cliff got home from work (it took him 2 hours), he and Joshua had some father & son time. They shoveled the cars out and played on the sled.

New Pictures above Joshua's Bed

We were given these and what a blessing. I love them!!

Outside in the Morning

My children asked to go outside this morning. It was 8:00am and very cold. I decided to bundle them up and let them go. They got their bikes out and rode back and forth until they froze. They only lasted about 20 minutes and then asked to come in and have hot chocolate.

Leeah had a string hanging from her hat. I wish I had realized it, because it is in every picture....Oh well....

They were so happy playing together outside.

Here they are with hat heads, drinking hot chocolate.
