Christmas Morning - 2007

We started our Christmas day by reading the baby Jesus story. Joshua even wanted to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus, so we did that too.

Here we are getting ready to open the gifts. We were so blessed this year. It is so funny, because in the beginning of December we always start to worry about having enough money to buy gifts for the kids. But this year, it seemed like gifts were coming in from everywhere, so we had a lot under the tree this year. We just thank God for always providing.

I have a Black & Decker hand vac, and the kids are always wanting to use it. They now have one of their own. You should have seen them all day, using it to vacuum around the house. The toy actually works which is neat. So now I have some help with the cleaning. (LOL)

The kids had a blast opening their presents. What a difference it was this year, from last year. Now they both could appreciate it. Leeah was too young last year.

Cliff was the wrapping paper person. He made sure the living room was clean. What a big help, because last year, we were swimming in paper and boxes. I got so overwhelmed. This year things went smoothly.

Here is Joshua, once again, playing with his sister's toys. He loves girl toys for some reason. The cutest thing was watching him get Leeah to sit in this little stroller and he was wheeling her around the house. I didn't get a picture of that, but once, I do - I will be posting it.

Well, that is the end of our Christmas morning. I wish that you all were here, but we did have a wonderful time alone at home. We got to eat some of the turkey I made, and we lounged out and watched a few Christmas classics like: A Christmas Carol, Miracle on 34th Street, It's a Wonderful Life, and even Elf (which is a new one). Anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone!!
