Joshua's First Drawing
I found Joshua with one of my sketching pencils today. I was so proud of him. The face on the left has 4 noses and they both have lots of hair (according to my son's explanation). We may have another artist in the family!!

Our First Real Snow Storm!
We got a good 10" of snow today. It was really nice. I got the kids all bundled up. Leeah is in one of Joshua's snow suits, because she doesn't have one of her own. We have lots of hand me downs, so every once in a while she gets stuck wearing boys clothes. LOL

After Cliff got home from work (it took him 2 hours), he and Joshua had some father & son time. They shoveled the cars out and played on the sled.

Outside in the Morning
My children asked to go outside this morning. It was 8:00am and very cold. I decided to bundle them up and let them go. They got their bikes out and rode back and forth until they froze. They only lasted about 20 minutes and then asked to come in and have hot chocolate.

Leeah had a string hanging from her hat. I wish I had realized it, because it is in every picture....Oh well....

They were so happy playing together outside.

Here they are with hat heads, drinking hot chocolate.

Liberty State Park - January 2008
My brother Franky came for a visit from Colorado. We met up at my mom's in NJ for a long weekend. We had a nice relaxing time. We would've been happy just hanging out at home, but we decided that we needed to get out for a bit, so we went to Liberty State Park. It is a gorgeous 1,000 acre property right on the New York Harbor. It overlooks New York City, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty. Click on the links to read more about these landmarks.
It was cold, but we bundled up, put the kids in their double stroller, and went for a walk.
Do the kids look cold or what??

Here I am trying to shade my eyes from the sun. It was bright!

This one is my favorite, with my mom and brother
